Car Rentals In Chicago - Weather in Malaga Spain

However the temperatures do increase during the months of July and August. Because of this Malaga on average has about 320 hours of sunshine each year and the average temperature for this part of Spain is about 22 degrees Celsius. Because Malaga is located close to the Mediterranean Sea as well as being not far from the coast of North Africa you will find that the weather in Malaga Spain is both pleasant and mild.

Because Malaga enjoys so much sunshine during the year the temperature of the sea in this area often sits at around 18 degrees Celsius and rises to about 24 degrees Celsius during the month of August.

Also the main rain fall happens in Malaga during the autumn and winter months also but over the last few years this has not been as much as is required. However during the autumn and winter months are not exceptionally cold either normally the temperatures will sit between 16 and 19 degrees Celsius at this time of year and this is because the mountain ranges close to Malaga protect it from the cold winds that blow from the north.

Also because it is situated on the coast and is sheltered by the mountainous terrain it ensures that the weather during the winter months is very mild compared to many northern parts of Spain where when the weather is extremely harsh can suffer with snow. When visiting Malaga at any time of the year you will find that it enjoys a pleasant Mediterranean climate all year round and certainly for the majority of each year there are plenty of days of sunshine to be had.

So as you can see from above the weather in Malaga Spain does not really vary from month to month other than that the temperatures are lower during the winter. But it is advisable that you bring a lightweight jacket and some jumpers as the evenings can be a little bit cooler. As the humidity is low the heat for this part of Spain is comfortable and not at all sticky or sultry, however. Whenever visiting Malaga in the summer months it is important that you bring lots of clothes to wear that are cool because the temperatures during this period can get well up in to the 30's. However it is important that during October and then again in April and May sporadic showers can occur and this in turn makes the weather in Malaga slightly unpredictable.
