Shanghai Airlines - 3 Bed and Breakfast San Diego Getaways Your Girlfriend Will Love
Want to score major bonus points with your lady for finding a super cute b and b in SD? Don't want to stay in some generic 20-story skyscraper hotel? Planning a romantic weekend in San Diego?
Here are a couple of great San Diego bed and breakfast possibilities that will help you get undying love--or at least a romantic smooch or two.
Spot No.1: Balboa Park Inn
This colonial Spanish b and b is the perfect getaway to take your special lady, with 26 rooms decorated in unique themed decor.
This B and B is remarkably quiet--offering a great spot to just chill or as a jumping off point for the sights of San Diego, and a short walk from the Zoo, considering its located just north of the world-famous Balboa Park.
Then make sure to head over to this popular San Diego b and b, so if you've gotta a few rugrats along for the ride. Another great selling point is their attitude towards kids--they don't mind them.
Spot No.2: Elsbree House
This cozy inn in San Diego's quirkiest neighborhood is the perfect quaint--but low key--excursion for an intrepid couple, just 500 feet from the Ocean Beach (OB) pier and public beaches. There are plenty of SD bed and breakfasts near the beach--but none quite this near.
Boutiques in downtown OB--San Diego's lone bastion of hippie counterculture, shops, there are plenty of galleries, besides the picturesque views of nearby Sunset Cliffs and almost mandatory walks on the beach you'll just have to take.
Spot No.3: Orchard Hill Country Inn
This small art town is famous for 2 things: world-famous apple pies and one of the most elegant bed and breakfasts in California, just 45 minutes away from the 5 freeway. You might want to head east to Julian, if you don't need to be by the coast.
Toiletries which defy reason--and in some rooms there is even a whirlpool, a split of wine, you get the best in ultimate amenities--Belgian chocolates, but for that tidy sum. The Orchard Hill Country Inn is not on the thrifty side--rooms can run up to 200 a night.
The reason might be that twenty two of the rooms have been featured in travel magazines around the world, if some of the rooms seem familiar.
There you'll get some amazing apple pie--and look out for some of the best homemade candies on the west coast. And when you're done being amazed by your accommodations don't forget to head into town.
